Beer in porrón has the problem of foam. At home we fill the porrón with beer and something else. A clara ir more common. Not so foamy.
I have heard the "de grifo" in other parts of Spain. You can add "de barril" ("from the barrel" -when say "barrel" understand keg-).
Some of us heard the name "litrona" for the first time when started appearing in movies and TV series in the 80s. Traditionally the one litre bottle (to share) in Catalonia was associated with the local brand, Damm's Xibeca (canonically X pronounced as SH, some people pronounced it as CH). So sunday's lunch was roasted chicken (pollo a l'ast - pollo asado) and Xibeca. By the way, in those years beer was an acceptable drink for kids... Always at home and always in presence of your parents. Moderation in drinking is something you learnt at home.
And "special beers" are so special that should be called by their names. Woll Damm, Zaragozana especial, "Una estrella" (Damm), recently "Una estrella Galicia" or "una San Miguel" is the way of asking for a particular beer, preceded by the "format". "Un quinto estrella" or "un quinto Woll" or "un tercio Mahou" or "una jarra de Túria" or "una copa de Moritz" is the way...
Thanks Jordi de BCN! Yes de barril! Thanks for all your input about cervezas especiales and how to order them. My grandparents gave me wine and water and not beer. They were from Salamanca. They loved wine! I only saw litronas in the botellón parties.

Yep, I reckon "una caña" was the first thing I was taught to say in Spain... the size meant I quickly had to learn "otra caña"...
